Life passes by quickly, that we all know. One minute you are a small child and the next minute you are an adult getting married or with children of your own. With time flying past ever so quickly, it can feel as though it is hard to soak int he moment so you can truly remember these beautiful times in life. I truly believe that one of the best ways to celebrate your life is with beautiful portrait photography.
I grew up in a home with photographs or portraits of some description adorning every wall in the house (yes, even the bathrooms!). My mother is a woman who documents life through a camera and I grew up with the importance of photography, and the importance of displaying it, being an absolute given. My path to becoming a photographer began as a small child whose view on the world was very much defined by the visual and it is this way of seeing things that continues to direct my approach to life and how I capture it today.
My style of lifestyle and portrait session is photojournalism combined with creative portraiture. My approach is natural and unobtrusive, leading to images that are a real reflection of your life as it is now. The moments that are captured are ones to be treasured for a lifetime: something as simple as an afternoon spent at the park or a morning spent rolling in the sand on the beach. My goal is to deliver photographs that are truly telling your story.
I place an emphasis not only on delivering beautiful images that will become treasured family memories in years and generations to come but also on the experience of my clients throughout the portrait photography experience. From the moment you book me, my goal is to deliver you both images you can treasure and a photography experience that you will never forget.
I run my portrait photography business from my home in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. Most of my portrait shoots are shot in natural light on location at some of Sydney’s most beautiful photography locations including Watson’s Bay, Nielsen Park, Centennial Park and Bondi Beach. Newborn and studio-style maternity shoots can be shot either at my home or at my client’s home.
