kassie + andrew | hunter valley wedding photographer

If you saw the sneak peek I posted from their wedding, you’ll know Kassie and Andrew are dear to me. But I’ll add a bit more to the story now: I have known Kassie since I was about fourteen years old. We’ve drifted in and out of each others’ lives in the twelve years that have passed since we met – but our friendship has stood the test of time. When Kassie asked me to be a guest at her wedding, I was honoured. When she asked me to be her photographer too, I couldn’t quite believe my luck: photographing a gorgeous friend’s wedding in the Hunter Valley! Um, heck yeah :)
Kassie and Andrew were married over the Easter Long Weekend at the beautiful Midnight’s Promise Estate in Lovedale. The venue was truly stunning and a wonderful place for such a lovely, intimate event.
Kassie and Andrew are a wonderful couple. Both beautiful people and wondering parents to gorgeous little Delaney. Their story is a wonderful one and their wedding day was the most genuinely beautiful event I have ever attended. I cried more than I ever have at a wedding – and let me tell you, I always cry. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this amazing day. Thank you, guys, you are amazing, and I feel so blessed to have you as friends and clients.

sneak peek | kassie + andrew | hunter valley wedding photography

I shot Kassie and Andrew’s wedding at Midnight’s Promise Winery in the Hunter Valley recently. It was such a pleasure to shoot the wedding. Kassie is a dear friend to me as well as a client and to see her joy as well as Andrew’s was an utter blessing and an honour for me. Kassie and Andrew, thank you so much for including me in your wonderful day and honouring me with the job of telling your story.

claudine + mark | melbourne wedding photographer

Claudine and Mark met through work, fell in love, and knew they wanted to marry. Their wedding was a joyful, intimate celebration of love, family and life. The emotion they displayed and the joy shared between Claudine, Mark and their loved ones was nothing short of inspirational and incredibly touching. I cried more than normal during Claudine’s walk down the aisle because you could genuinely feel the love between she and Mark, it was almost electric!
When I arrived, Claudine was nervous but ready. She was having her hair and makeup down surrounded by her sisters, nieces and friends. It was a gorgeous but cloudy april day. Surrounded by family, she reflected on how much she loves Mark, her excitement at getting to see him later that day and to finally be his wife. Helped by her sisters she slipped into her stunning lace Bella Donna gown and looked absolutely gorgeous and picture perfect. The joy, excitement and reflection shared on that morning is not something I will soon forget!
With a ceremony in the Vineyards at Yarra Valley’s stunning Barak Estates and a beautiful luncheon reception full of sharing platters of amazing Barak Estate food and endless wine, the day was nothing short of beautiful. It was a pleasure to share in such a wonderful occasion. Thank you for having me as a part of your wedding day.

anne + dan | part one | melbourne wedding photographer

I love Anne and Dan. They’re just an amazing couple. I really bonded with Anne in the lead up to photographing her wedding as well as on the day itself. From their gorgeous engagement session in the streets of Melbourne, I just knew that this couple had it. The ‘zsa zsa zhou’. They’re just gorgeous. As was their wedding day.

Married on a blustery but warm February day on a cliff in Queencliff overlooking the bay, Anne and Dan’s wedding was a gorgeous fusion of heartfelt moments, stunning details and one very fabulous pink wedding dress! Anne and Dan put so much time, thought and energy into their day and it really shone through.

It was a pleasure to photograph their wedding day. People like Anne and Dan are the kind that make me feel so utterly blessed to do something i am so passionate about: capturing people in love. Thanks, Anne and Dan, it was a pleasure! So much so that I have split your blog post into two sections! Be prepared, it’s heavy on the pretty!

Oh, yay, you have found my blog!

Here’s a little bit about me and what I do:

I’m Hannah Lundberg, and I am a Sydney wedding photographer, servicing Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains and the Southern Highlands.

I am a Sydney girl, born and raised, and I love everything that this wonderful harbour city has to offer. It is a beautiful canvas against which I can place my wedding photography and portrait photography clients to create beautiful images that last a lifetime!

I first picked up a camera as a kid, inspired by a mother who was and remains a wonderful photographer, and by having a darkroom in my home. My home was always plastered with photographs from years past and we were always in front of the camera. Being a creative child, photography held appeal to me. I took some time out from creativity by pursuing an education in politics and marketing and working in digital strategy. In 2008 I found that this had become rather empty for me, and I picked up a camera again, and a new love affair began. I was obsessed with photography, storytelling and the importance that captured moments play in keeping memories alive. This is an obsession that continues to drive me in the running of my wedding photography business.

I am inspired by love, laughter, cheeky whispers and gentle kisses. If you are looking for a boutique wedding photography experience in Sydney, its surrounds or internationally, then I am the photographer for you. From our first meeting over hot chocolate to the delivery of your album with homemade cupcakes in tow, you will feel like you are being looked after by an old friend rather than a simple service provider.

I have experience shooting weddings of all sizes – from intimate twenty guest gatherings to rowdy events with hundreds of guests. My approach to wedding photography is tailored to fit your personal requirements and the nature of your wedding day. I have performed wedding photography services at many of Sydney’s premier wedding venues including L’Aqua, Gunners’ Barracks, Mandalay, Old Government House and more!
